Willis May Jr. #1·Varsity Head Coach

About Coach May Jr.

Coach Willis May has over two decades of teaching and coaching experience.  Prior to coaching and teaching at Douglas, Coach was the head coach of Hurricane’s Mighty Redskins from his home state West Virginia. From 2004-2011, Coach May led his team to the state playoffs six of those eight years and was named West Virginia Mountain State Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in 2010.   He played two years of college football at Concord University before an automobile accident wouldn't allow him to play any longer.   He’s been married for 23 years to his wife Melissa May.  They have three sons Jordan, Corey, Jared.  The May family moved to Florida to be closer to his Mom and Dad who live in Ft. Myers.  You will see the entire May Family in the stands cheering the Eagles on.
